LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: As the country commemorated the tenth anniversary of the terrible incident, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid heartfelt condolences to the martyrs of the militant attack on the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar on Monday, reaffirming their commitment to ending the threat of terrorism.
Nearly 150 innocent students and instructors were massacred when six terrorists invaded APS on December 16, 2014.
“This day is a sobering reminder for the country to come together against terrorism and step up efforts to eradicate this evil,” President Zardari said.
He claimed that the terrorists had assaulted the country’s and its children’s future on that sad day in a statement commemorating the incident’s tenth anniversary.
