Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, a spokesman for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration, has called the story that 100 children died in Kurram, a district riven by violence, due to a lack of medications, “a fabrication.”
The chief minister’s KP advisor said in a statement that Kurram was receiving daily deliveries of all necessary medications. He urged the public not to trust such “fabricated and baseless reports” as well.
He went on to say that Kurram residents were receiving priority delivery of all necessities.
It should be mentioned that over 130 people were killed in the recent conflicts between two tribes in Parachinar, during which time claims of over 100 child deaths surfaced.
