Blanket, Michael Jackson’s youngest son, filed legal paperwork against his grandmother Katherine, requesting that the court not allow her to use Michael Jackson’s estate funds to fund an appeal in an ongoing legal battle.
According to paperwork acquired by TMZ, Michael Jackson’s family is suing the executors of Jackson’s estate for carrying out a major transaction against their will.
The journal reported that it is not specified in the document, nor are the specifics of the transaction, but according to recent sources, it may be tied to the arrangement signed with Sony to sell Michael’s portion of the song collection for $600 million.
The court dismissed blanket and his grandmother’s claims against the arrangement, but Kathrine chose to appeal the decision.
Michael Jackson’s youngest son, as an heir, does not want his father’s estate to pay Katherine’s legal fees, and he believes the appeal has few to no benefits.
