From his feet to his withers—the ridge between his shoulder blades—Kevin is 0.97 meters (3 feet 2 inches) tall, but while standing on his hind legs, he is closer to 7 feet.
Tracy Wolfe, the owner, describes him as the “epitome of a gentle giant” who enjoys dominating the couch.
In an attempt to appear less frightening to other dogs, Kevin frequently crouching and crawling close by, it is stated that he is “terrified” of the family’s vacuum.
“He’ll not allow it to go closer than six feet to him. “He’ll leap and run to escape from it,” Mrs. Wolfe claims.
Kevin maintains his weight despite eating a lot, yet when he goes out, he always gets the same remarks.
He gets along “fine” with the family’s cats and has always been really kind with the other small dogs, Mrs. Wolfe continues.
“He does once in a while try to chase them but if he catches them he just licks them.”
Kevin remains somewhat shorter than the tallest dog in history, Zeus, a Great Dane that stood 1.118 meters (3 feet 8 inches) tall and passed away in 2014 at the age of five.
