Emergency services were called to the Gloucestershire address on Sunday night after discovering him dead.
There were no other parties engaged, nor were there any suspicious circumstances.
His family received “most heartfelt thoughts and prayers” from King Charles and Queen Camilla.
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, Mr. Kingston’s widow Lady Gabriella and his family paid tribute to him, saying, “Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him.”
There was a “great shock to the whole family” following the death.
There will be an inquest.
Lady Gabriella is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Prince Michael, who is 81 years old, is a first cousin to the late Queen Elizabeth II and the grandson of King George V.
