Brian Gough, 27, was discovered injured on Saracen Street in Possil at 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to Police Scotland.
Emergency services were called, but Mr. Gough, of Springburn in the city, died later at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A post-mortem examination resulted in the commencement of an investigation.
Two males, aged 26 and 36, were arrested on Tuesday in relation to Mr Gough’s death.
