His spouse, Nathalie Potter, stated on X: “He was a comics historian to many of you, lending his voice to stories from a variety of media. He was one of the greatest and most encouraging people anyone could ask for, according to his loved ones.
Ben was a kind and sincere person who could be a husband, son, brother, friend, or even simply a complete stranger. He was a man who made time for his loved ones and was willing to listen.
He would try to keep everyone laughing and make sure they were all right. He was our pillar of support, offering consolation to those in need.”
Calling him “my world”, she stated she needed time to figure things out and grieve, as well maintaining his legacy of labor.
“His channel was one of his greatest accomplishments, and while we all need our time to mourn him, I know he wouldn’t want it to end like this,” she said.
