The judge decided that Uzair Baloch and Ghaffar Mama should be found not guilty in the Rehman Dacoit police encounter case because there was not enough evidence.
According to Uzair Baloch’s attorney, the prosecution’s witnesses gave inconsistent testimony, and there was no evidence against Uzair Baloch from the police.
The prosecution stated that Uzair Baloch was facing more than fifty cases at several police stations when the case against him was filed in 2009 at the Steel Town police station. Baloch had already won 39 cases without a conviction.
Rehman Dacoit and other suspects were allegedly slain in a shootout between the accused and the police, according to the prosecution.
Along with other suspects, Uzair Baloch was able to get away.
