Following the shooting in Well Lane, Walsall, just before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, police opened a murder inquiry.
“We understand the alarm that such incidents cause and there will be an increase in police presence around the area in the coming days,” a statement from West Midlands Police stated.
“Officers will be offering reassurance, so please talk to them if you have any concerns.”
ofOn Monday night, two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old male were taken into custody.
Up to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, there will be heightened stop and search authority in Walsall while police pursue their investigations.
It is encouraged of anyone with knowledge on the shooting to call 101.
