YORK: More people watched Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the UN General Assembly on the UN’s official YouTube channel than watched speeches by other world leaders, such as US President Joe Biden.
The speech made by the premier was uploaded on September 28 and has already received over 140,000 views.
Biden’s speech, on the other hand, has had 103,000 views since it was posted on September 22. The speech delivered by the Chinese Foreign Minister was released a day ago, and it has only received 84,000 views thus far.
Only 51,000 people have viewed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s UNGA speech since it was posted on September 25, despite Erdogan being a well-known character in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
