The Minnesota governor stated Sunday that at least two police officers and another official were slain while responding to a domestic violence situation in Burnsville.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Governor Tim Walz wrote: “Horrific news from Burnsville. Two police officers and one firefighter died while responding to a call about a family in danger, while other cops were injured.
Walz also stated, “We must never take for granted the courage and sacrifices that our police officers and first responders make every day. My thoughts are with their families today, and the entire state of Minnesota stands with Burnsville.”
