Near a police mobile vehicle, in the Urmar neighborhood on the outskirts of Peshawar, there was a bomb explosion.
The improvised explosive device (IED) exploded, according to police, while they were on a routine patrol.
There were no confirmed casualties.
After the explosion, a bomb disposal unit (BDU) and a sizable police detachment arrived on the area and began a search and rescue effort.
