When Naguib Lootfun, 69, of Maidstone worked for an assisted living facility, he mistreated the weak patient.
After Lootfun had done a night shift, coworkers discovered an empty condom wrapper in a bedroom at the facility on May 8.
He was suspended while an investigation was conducted despite his claims that the wrapper had slipped out of his pocket while he was working.
When the care home’s trash cans were searched, two used condoms were found that had DNA that matched both Lootfun and the victim.
Additionally, semen stains matching his DNA profile were discovered in her room, leading to Lootfun’s arrest on rape charges.
After first refuting accusations of sexual abuse, Lootfun acknowledged having intercourse with the woman even though she was unable to give consent.
On July 9, he was found guilty at Maidstone Crown Court. On Wednesday, Lootfun was given an 11-year sentence and mandated to spend an additional 4-year term under license.
