Despite having Alzheimer’s for over ten years, Adele Springsteen claimed in 2021 that she continued to seem to recognize her husband.
The American rock musician honored Adele Springsteen on Instagram by sharing a video of the two of them having a dance in a garden.
He cited The Wish, a song he had written about her, and revealed that she passed away on Wednesday.
“I remember in the morning mom hearing your alarm clock ring,” he wrote.
“As you got ready for work, I would lie in bed and listen to the sound of your makeup case hitting the sink.
“And the ladies at the office all lipstick, perfume and rustling skirts, how proud and happy you always looked walking home from work.”
“I’ve got my hot rod down on Bond Street, I’m older but you’ll know me in a glance,” the 74-year-old artist wrote as he signed off.
“We’ll find us a Little rock ‘n roll bar and we’ll go out and dance.”
Adele Springsteen passed away, but her cause of death was not immediately known.
However, the celebrity’s mother, a longtime legal secretary, has been battling Alzheimer’s for almost ten years.
