The details of a recent meeting between General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), and Barrister Gohar, the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), have surfaced.
According to security sources, the main topics of conversation were security and counterterrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Security sources have voiced concerns over the meeting’s presentation as a politically heated affair, despite the fact that it was allegedly centered on tackling the region’s urgent security issues and took place in Peshawar.
Insiders claim that throughout the talks, Barrister Gohar made an effort to bring up political issues.
