The new proposal that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle submitted to Netflix, which this time centered on the world of Polo, was rejected by critics.
According to sources, the reviewers gave the documentary an average rating of two stars since it failed to live up to the high expectations.
The Daily Mail also noted that, in contrast to his last project, Harry and Meghan on the streamer, which caused a stir when the royal couple defied The Firm, the Duke of Sussex barely made an appearance in the five-part series.
Returning to the reviewers, Ed Power rated the documentary two stars in his article in The Telegraph. “Netflix and Archewell team up for a tedious inside-look at posh polo—and for once, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t hog the limelight.”
