The 2025 stadium concerts have the “potential” to generate as much revenue as the £1 billion in cash infusion that the economy reportedly benefited from Taylor Swift’s previous UK tour, according to an investment expert at AJ Bell.
“The number of concerts could also be similar if the band adds extra dates to meet the expected high demand,” Dan Coatsworth noted. “The superstar of the Eras Tour performed in many of the same venues as those scheduled for the Oasis tour.”
“This summer, Taylor Swift fans from all over the world flocked to the nation, spending a lot of money on tickets, goods, lodging, transportation, and new clothes.
“The audience should have the same fervor for Oasis, and the amount of money spent on alcohol and cigarettes might be astounding.
The key question is whether Oasis’s comeback will continue to bring in money indefinitely. The Gallagher brothers appear to be taking advantage of this situation financially, but their animosity for one another goes back decades, so the reunion may not last. “Enjoy it while it lasts, fans and the UK economy,” he said.
