In the hunt for former England rugby player Tom Voyce, who vanished in a flooded location during Storm Darragh, a corpse has been discovered.
After attempting to cross Abberwick Ford, close to Bolton, Northumberland, in a car that was subsequently dragged by the current, police believed the 43-year-old had passed away.
The Marine Unit of Northumbria Police had found a body near Abberwick Mill earlier, although the hunt had been continuing on since Sunday.
Although Mr. Voyce’s next of kin have been informed, formal identification has not yet occurred.
After Mr. Voyce, who was capped nine times for England between 2001 and 2006, failed to return home following a Saturday night out with pals, concerns were raised.
