Gracie Abrams has talked candidly about her relationship with Katie McGrath, her mother.
The singer, 25, called her mother the “toughest person” in an interview with People magazine.
“Not a softie, but the toughest person I know,” Gracie remarked. “I want to treat people the same way she does, so it makes me happy to see her act that way toward this music-loving community.”
“I’m doing any of this now because of her support and encouragement of my writing throughout my life,” the Risk hitmaker continued.
She wants to be “more and more” like her mother, as Gracie has stated.
