Parts of Sindh experienced torrential rain, lightning, and thunderstorms on Friday night, submerging low-lying districts and seriously disrupting daily life.
According to the details, the province’s Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Bhit Shah, and other places got a lot of rain tonight.
Not only did the rain cause traffic jams, but numerous areas of the province experienced power outages shortly after the storm started.
Furthermore, rainwater infiltrated the houses situated in the province’s low-lying regions. Rainwater also inundated roads, obstructing traffic flow.
When the first drop of rain fell, 130 feeders tripped, throwing much of Hyderabad into darkness. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted earlier this week that rain is expected throughout the nation from July 16 to July 21 due to “moderate monsoon currents that are likely to penetrate from the Arabian Sea”.
According to Met Office predictions, the weather system would bring new spells of rain-wind and thundershowers to all four provinces, as well as the areas of Azad and Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB).
