The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated in its forecast on Sunday that light to moderate rains are predicted in the port city during the next 24 hours, despite light showers occurring in some regions of Karachi.
After a mild rain, many parts of Karachi, including Malir Halt, Defence, Korangi, Landhi, Quaidabad, and their surrounding neighborhoods, were drenched.
The Met Office reports that Karachi is still experiencing a rain system, and that strong winds and cloud cover are predicted to persist in the city.
The PMD reported that the city’s current recorded temperature is 27°C and that it is expected to reach a maximum temperature of 32°C.The statement went on to say that the air is 88% humid and that the sea breeze may reach speeds of up to 25 km/h.
Meanwhile, traffic police have issued safety measures advising motorcycle riders to utilize the left side of the road due to the city’s rainy weather.
