During their appearance together on Celebrity Big Brother, the 71-year-old music manager and wife of former Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne claimed that Cowell “doesn’t know how to keep friends” in a talk with fellow former Factor judge Louis Walsh.
“I hated seeing certain people on a reality show dissing Simon; he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money, and given them a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had,” 53-year-old Holden, who judges Britain’s Got Talent alongside Cowell, stated in a Daily Mail article.
In response to the piece, Osbourne—who has managed Motorhead and The Smashing Pumpkins—wrote a lengthy post on the news, stating that Holden was unaware of her “global celebrity, my achievements, the artists I have worked with, and my history in the music industry.”
She added that she had always thought Holden was “very beautiful and talented” when she saw her on television, but someone had warned her not to criticize the lifestyle that Simon Cowell had provided her.
