The US Navy ship USS Abraham Lincoln participated in the targeted operation alongside the Pakistan Navy ship PNS Zulfiquar and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ship Kolachi.
Pakistani Navy and Coast Guard aircraft also contributed to the operation. As a result, 1.3 tons of hashish valued at almost $26 million were taken into custody.
The Pakistan Navy recently took over as commander of Combined Task Force 150, which is tasked with enhancing maritime security and putting an end to illicit operations in international waters.
