Prince Harry was accused of defaming his sister-in-law Kate Middleton and the rest of the Royal family.
In an interview with The Sun, the Princess of Wales’ uncle Gary Goldsmith praised his “beautiful” niece before she appeared on ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother.
He praised Kate, the Princess of Wales, saying, “She’s beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside, and truly is a doting mother…”So the monarchy is becoming more focused on the family.”
“That’s why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t put a stick into that spoke and reinvent history,” she said.
He went on to state that he was “pretty miffed” when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “had a pop at my beautiful niece who couldn’t say anything for herself.”
“I believe everyone felt the same way about how much we loved Harry, and throwing your family under the wagon just seemed inappropriate, especially given what was happening with the Queen. I just thought that was completely unnecessary.
“It’s total bull***t, and I didn’t hide my emotions very well when given the opportunity to say something; I just thought I’d say it as I saw it. I thought I had captured the tone of the nation.”
