An accountability court in Rawalpindi deferred its decision in the £190 million settlement case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi on Wednesday after all parties had finished their arguments.
As the PTI founder Khan’s and his wife’s attorneys wrapped up their last arguments in the case, Judge Nasir Javed Rana reserved the decision. But a day earlier, the prosecution team finished its arguments.
The accountability judge stated that the verdict in the well-known case would be made public on December 3.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recorded the testimony of 35 witnesses during the trial, which lasted one year. These witnesses included former federal minister Zubaida Jalal, former principal secretary Azam Khan, and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak.
