LAHORE: The local government declared new school hours after heavy rain fell on the capital of Punjab and further spells were predicted for the next few days.
Ordinary lessons at the boys’ schools located throughout the provincial capital will begin on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.
The girls’ schools will remain open for business from 8:15 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. The new schedule states that on Friday, girls’ schools will close at noon and boys’ schools would end at 12:15 p.m.
Additionally, the administration adjusted the schedules for the schools that have dual shifts of instruction.
The aforementioned schools will now start their first shift at 7:45 am and end at 12:15 pm, in accordance with the revised schedule.
