The salary of vice-chancellors (VCs) at Sindh’s public institutions has been significantly increased, according to the government of the province.
The official statement states that the minimum compensation for venture capitalists (VCs) will now be Rs684,450 yearly, which represents an increase of almost Rs20,000 per year.
Furthermore, the “vice-chancellor allowance,” which is equivalent to 20% of the base pay, will now surpass Rs136,000, making VCs’ monthly pay total more than Rs820,000.
With permission from the Chief Minister of Sindh, the Department of Universities and Boards released a notification guaranteeing that all VCs will get this improved compensation plan for the duration of their tenure.
