In order to resolve long-standing concerns that have previously taken the two nations to the verge of war, Turkey’s top diplomat and his Greek counterpart in Athens have decided to continue their talks.
Following their Friday meeting and the delivery of declarations on unresolved matters, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan embraced Greece’s George Gerapetritis. Both of them indicated a desire to improve their comprehension of the opposing viewpoint on “critical issues.”
“We must take advantage of this momentous occasion and ensure that the good relations between our nations last forever. At a joint news conference with Gerapetritis, Fidan stated, “We should turn our eternal neighbor into an eternal friend.”
“With a sincere and constructive approach, I am confident that we can accomplish this goal,” he said.
