KARACHI: Due to the city’s persistent traffic problems and an increase in heavy vehicle-related fatalities, the Sindh government has strictly restricted dumpers’ access to the city.
In order to reduce accidents and enhance road safety, the new regulation restricts dumpers’ access to Karachi between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Dumper restrictions are not a recent development. Numerous alerts have been sent out over the years restricting the passage of heavy traffic between midnight and the early hours of the morning. Nonetheless, their presence in the city throughout the day has frequently been justified by legal gaps and current development initiatives.
