Danish Iqbal, Natasha’s husband, who is one of the suspects in the recent fatal automobile incident in Karachi’s Karsaz district, has been granted protective bail by the Sindh High Court.
Iqbal was given a seven-day bail and was mandated to provide a 50,000 rupee surety bond.
Aamir Mansoob Advocate, Iqbal’s attorney, contended that his client required protection bail since he was in risk of being taken into custody. He said that Iqbal was not involved in the incident and that Natasha, his wife, was incarcerated at the time.
The event happened on August 19 when Natasha’s speeding vehicle lost control and collided with onlookers on Karsaz Road. A father and his daughter lost their lives in the tragedy, while four other persons suffered injuries.
