“As the summer draws to a close, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate states in the video. As a family, the past nine months have been extremely difficult. We’ve had to adapt to the fact that life can change drastically in an instant.
Speaking candidly about the effects illness has had on her and her family, she states: “Everyone, especially those closest to you, finds the cancer journey to be complex, scary, and unpredictable. Above all, this time has served as a reminder to William and me to pause, consider our blessings, and express gratitude for the small but significant things in life that we so often take for granted.
