On Saturday, federal and international authorities detained David Knezevich, the spouse of a Florida woman who vanished from an apartment in Spain inexplicably in February.
The 40-year-old Ana Maria Knezevich was last seen in Madrid, Spain, on February 2 at approximately 10 p.m., only half an hour after a guy donning a motorcycle helmet spray-painted security cameras inside her Salamanca neighborhood apartment complex.
According to a Monday post on news by Policía Nacional, the Spanish international police, David, 36, was taken into custody at Miami International Airport in relation to his wife’s disappearance.
In a statement to News, the FBI confirmed David’s arrest in relation to his “involvement in the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen in Madrid, Spain, on or about February 2, 2024.”
