KARACHI: Three Afghan women who were trying to enter Germany through Karachi using false credentials have been detained by immigration officials.
Immigration officials with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) announced that Aziza Mohammadi, Mehria Rehmani, and Zahra Sultani were the ladies who had been taken into custody.
“All three of the women’s business and medical documents were fake,” they claimed, adding that a case had been filed against them and that they had been turned over to the anti-human trafficking circle for additional legal action.
Officials claim that Aziza entered Pakistan on a medical visa. According to the documentation she provided, she was admitted to a hospital in Islamabad between April 27 and May 20, 2024, for treatment.
