In Tennessee, a black bear was struck and killed while attempting to eat pancakes.

Fat Bear Week was postponed when a competitor killed a contender.
Romain Pizzi, a specialist from Edinburgh who has a reputation for taking on situations that other veterinarians won’t touch, will perform the three-hour procedure.
He is going to drill a tiny hole in Boki’s skull and insert a tube that will drain the extra fluid from his bladder by passing beneath his skin and into his brain.
The veterinarian has only performed this surgery on an Asiatic black bear in Laos once previously. With the surgery going well, the Wildwood Trust is certain that this is the best course of action for Boki.
According to Mr. Habben, Boki is gaining weight quickly and is in terrific physical shape as well.
“We would not have put him or ourselves through the ordeal if we did not believe that this would end happily.
