In connection with the savage death of Osama, a 21-year-old man who was allegedly abducted and subjected to three hours of torture after being accused of stealing a cricket bat, the Faisalabad police have opened a case and detained one suspect.
Osama, a Gulberg Colony resident, was reportedly kidnapped by the suspects on Thursday, according to police reports. He was critically injured while being taken captive and brutally tortured with iron rods, clubs, and batons.
Afterwards, the suspects got in touch with Osama’s father and demanded that his son be freed in exchange for the return of their stolen cricket bat.
When Osama’s father arrived at the scene, he discovered his son was seriously hurt. He hurried him to the hospital, where he later passed away.
