The main political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convened a jirga on Thursday in the chief minister’s residence.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Mohsin Dawar, Aimal Wali Khan, Amir Muqam, and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi were among those present.
Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, took part in the jirga also.
The recent developments in WANA and Khyber as well as the nation’s general security state were discussed by the jirga.
Under CM Gandapur, a jirga will now be formed to negotiate with the Qaumi Jirga.
Gandapur stated in his introductory remarks that the province’s customary method of resolving conflicts was through jirgas.
He went on to say that talking things out instead of using violence was the best way to settle any situation.
