Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), pledged on Friday to abide by the prime minister’s directives about the constitutional change.
In an exclusive interview with TV, Khan stated: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman and the PTI and their allies have met.” Our unified approach with Maulana Fazlur Rehman was developed yesterday. We decided yesterday to come to an agreement on the constitutional change.
The constitutional change had been drafted by the special parliamentary committee. On behalf of the current administration, we acquired the fourth draft of the constitutional amendment,” he said.
“We learned that the committee had prepared the draft during our meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman,” he said.
