Today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will give a lavish celebration in honor of Arshad Nadeem, the Olympic gold medallist who recently made history by winning a gold medal for Pakistan.
The prime minister has reportedly also invited prominent lawmakers, members of the federal cabinet, Arshad Nadeem’s family, and a number of former Olympians to the function.
The PM is reported to have added, “The Olympic record holder should be welcomed with dignity.”
The sources claimed that when Arshad Nadeem, who broke a long-standing Olympic record, and his family come in Islamabad on the prime minister’s plane, they will be treated with the utmost formality. Shehbaz Sharif has directed that the ceremony be held in the Prime Minister’s House.
