Finally, Kelly Eberflus has shared how she and her husband, Matt Eberflus, met.
In a 2019 interview with the Indianapolis Colts, Matt’s old team, Kelly said she initially met her husband after he decided to become a coach instead of play football.
Kelly noted, “Matt didn’t want to get into coaching when I first met him.”
She added, “He didn’t red shirt, so he had another year remaining, even though that wasn’t what he went to school for. He enjoyed working as a student assistant.
“He worked as a graduate assistant for one year before being hired on a full-time basis by Gary Pinkel, the coach at Toledo,” Kelly continued.
