Ali Amin Gandapur, the fiery chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), warned the current government that the party workers will take to the streets with “guns” the next time and urged Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to cease calling for peace.
CM Gandapur, who has a history of going missing during the party’s marches through the federal capital, stated at a ceremony in Abbottabad: “Imran Khan! for God’s sake, stop advocating for peace.” We won’t discuss peace the next time. We will demonstrate who flees when we emerge brandishing our weapons.
His remarks came after the imprisoned PTI founder threatened to start a civil disobedience campaign on the 16th of this month if his demands, which included a court investigation into the crackdown on protests in November, were not met.
