Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated that the nation’s largest political party is being “targeted” in a “second open letter” to General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
“With the goal of bridging the widening gap between the public and the military, I sincerely addressed an open letter to the Army Chief (you) for the benefit of the nation. But the reaction was incredibly careless and unimportant,” the former prime minister wrote in the letter.
He said that he was the former prime minister and the leader of the “country’s most popular and largest political party”, and he had dedicated his entire life to bringing global recognition to the nation.
