SHANGLA: According to a report by News on Tuesday, a terrorist grenade attack on a police checkpoint in Chakesar, District Shangla of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulted in the martyrdom of two officers and the wounding of three others.
According to the police, constable Nisar Khan and assistant sub-inspector Hassan Khan are the two officers that were killed. In contrast, Muharrar Arshad Khan, Constable Arshad Khan, and Constable Rifat are among the injured.
They stated that the wounded officers have been taken to a hospital in Battagram for medical attention.
The terrorist attack on the police checkpoint in Shangla was denounced by Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, who also paid respect to the deceased police officers.
He conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families of police officers Hassan and Nisar and expressed his grief and sorrow over their martyrdom.
