According to reports, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been detained since September in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, is refusing to leave his detention cell.
According to TMZ, the 55-year-old music entrepreneur has been delaying court cases in order to take on lawsuits.
Attorney Tony Buzbee clarified in this regard that Diddy’s unwillingness to accept service has resulted in delays in two particular cases.
Due to the delays, the lawyer has urged judges to postpone conferences until February and cancel those scheduled for January 10.
Also, both groups of attorneys have reached a consensus over the course of action.
Phillip Pines was the assistant of the founder of Bad Boy Records and has filed one of the numerous lawsuits against him.
Later, he filed a sexual battery lawsuit against the rapper.
