The destructive Pacific Palisades wildfire has destroyed James Woods’ home in Los Angeles.
He spoke openly about the effects of wildfires on his neighborhood in a CNN interview.
“Our beautiful little house,” the actor from Once Upon a Time in America remarked. “We finally had it done, and we were swimming every day, and my blood pressure was going down.”
“The views from that house before to this fire were just breathtaking if you ever saw them. “It was paradise,” he continued, “and we knew all of our neighbors.”
“One day you’re swimming in the pool, and the next day it’s all gone,” Woods said.
The actor recalled how one of his neighbors, who has dementia, was abandoned in the inferno.
