KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted sporadic strong winds in the nation’s financial center, adding to the severity of the existing cold wave.
According to the Met Office, the city’s weather is expected to stay dry and cold for the next 24 hours, with the lowest temperature recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is predicted to be between 9°C and 11°C due to 65% humidity and a northeastern breeze speeding at 20 km/h.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated on News’ ” Pakistan” program that the cold wave is predicted to last until January 17 and that high winds are anticipated to strike the city this afternoon.
