KARACHI: A widespread cold wave is still affecting sections of the country, including Karachi and parts of Balochistan, with temperatures frequently dropping below freezing.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) claimed in a statement that the lowest temperature in Karachi, where people eagerly await the brief winters throughout the year, was 13°C.
The lowest temperature is predicted to be between 10°C and 12°C at night, with the weather likely to stay cold for the following 24 hours.
In the meantime, the port city’s humidity is 35% and winds from the northeast are blowing at six kilometers per hour.
Additionally, starting tomorrow, the city may have severe, sporadic winds, according to the Met Office.
