LONDON: According to the attorneys for the two British-Pakistanis who were beaten by the Greater Manchester Police (GMP), there was a “attempted assassination” on the brothers at the Manchester airport by the police.
Mohammed Fahir and Mohammed Ammad’s attorney, Ahmed Yakoob, stated, “It was an attempted assassination.”
“This was a cooperative effort by the police officers to kill the young boys,” he continued. That is alarming as the police are attempting to kill individuals while they are supposed to be protecting us. Threats to kill were made against them. A police officer threatened to kill one of the youngsters.”The Birmingham-based attorney claimed to have answered a call for help from the incident’s central family. Dubbed the “TikTok lawyer,” Yakoob finished third on a pro-Gaza ticket and garnered a sizable portion of the support in this year’s West Midlands mayoral race.
In the July 4 elections, he reduced Lord Chancellor Shabana Mahmood’s majority from 25,000 to slightly over 3,000 as an independent, coming in second.
An officer can be seen kicking and stomping on the head of a man who was laying face down on the ground with a woman kneeling next to him in video taken at the airport’s terminal two. After a family visit, the boys had gone to the airport to pick up their mother, who was arriving from Pakistan.
