Amir Hafeez, a go-between for Javed Butt’s murder, was reportedly taken into custody when the shooters were identified, according to the police.
According to the police, he had taken the gunmen’s motorcycle and rickshaw out of the Mayo Hospital parking lot.
Shiraz Khan and Samar Gul, the other two accused, were taken into custody in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They provided refuge to Azhar and Ilyas, the two gunmen who were apprehended. Police claim that Arif, the fugitive accused, directed Azhar and Ilyas to the arms dealer Akram Khan, who then forwarded them to Shiraz and Samar in KP.
It is reported that in Ichrra, close to the Muslim Town underpass, a gun attack resulted in the death of Tefi Butt’s brother-in-law and the injury of his wife. Tefi Butt is the primary suspect in the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu.
