Mixture of Terriers Midway through July of last year, Mishka vanished from San Diego, and despite her owners’ best efforts to gather information on social media, no leads were found.
About nine months later, right before Easter, police in a Detroit, Michigan, suburb answered a call regarding a stray dog.
After removing the dog, Harper Woods police made contact with the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society, an organization dedicated to animal care.
They quickly learned that Mishka, age three, had been implanted with a chip that included details about her owner, who resides in San Diego on the west coast of the US.
