Pakistan and ADB decide to deepen their cooperation for economic expansion.

Ye complimented the minister on the staff-level agreement with the IMF, noting that the market has responded positively to the move.

During the meeting, the minister thanked ADB for its years of support. He emphasized ADB’s help through Policy Based Lending (PBL) in mitigating the effects of the epidemic and flooding.


The status of continuing policy-based projects, such as the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Program and the Climate and Disaster Resilience Enhancement Programme (CDREP), was also examined.

Recognizing the ADB’s critical role in advancing climate-conscious initiatives throughout Asia and the Pacific, the minister stressed the connection of ADB’s climate operations with Pakistan’s own climate goals and pledges.
